One of the biggest issues we've seen as a school district is universal across the country: a lack of consistency. We need board members who understand the landscape and diverse administration who are motivated and incented to stay the course. There is no doubt that past boards have made mistakes. I feel that my experience as an educator and a two-time board member provides a unique perspective on lessons learned to avoid those mistakes in the future.
